Davin Scites Tackles the Motor Mile Speedway to Finish 4th

Radford, VA (4-30-05) –   Davin Scites is a driver that has been described as being "pure energy and excitement” when it comes to racing.  Davin’s last race at the Motor Mile where he was sick with the flu brought him a 7th place finish.  But for this racer that was not good enough, nothing short of win will satisfy this driver and he is getting closer to accomplishing that goal.

Davin Scites headed to The Motor Mile to compete in the WSLS Newschannel 10 / Anchor Truck Accessories 200 Saturday night at
Virginia's Finest 4/10 Mile Paved Oval.

Practice for Saturdays race consisted of two fifteen minute sessions of practice after rain delayed practice.  There was not much time to set up the car.  “They tried to dry the track to let us qualify.  We needed to do something to make it better from practice and we did. We picked up four tenths in practice to qualify 14th.”

“We made some changes from the previous practice and knew we were gaining on it and really looking forward to doing well in the race.  We had a great race car, it wasn’t perfect but we did make great decisions on setup to finish 4th.  We are getting better each time.”

A good run and a good night for Davin Scites.

Next Race:  Stay tuned….
