Jesus Hernandez, Waste Management and Sam Belnavis Team Up for the Dodge Weekly Series 

 Team Waste Management has added Dodge Weekly Racing Series driver, Jesus Hernandez to its Roster.    Jesus Hernandez has finished in the top five every year in the Grand American Modified Championship, securing a fourth place  in championship points and is a two time NASCAR Weekly Racing Series Champion. 

Jesus Hernandez has obtained a business background that has been developed through hard work and dedication. He has many academic achievements and has an AA in Business Administration.    Mr. Hernandez is fluent in both English and Spanish thus having the ability to communicate effective to a wide demographic audience.  

"Being a first generation Mexican-American was a disadvantage when it came to racing. I lacked the resources that some competitors had. I was racing with second and third generation drivers with networks and resources that I didn't have. So coming to this new program allows me to be on a level playing field. Also being on the forefront of drivers changing the face of NASCAR and paving the way for all people to be recognized as competitors is an awesome cause." Hernandez said.   

 The Waste Management effort will be led by Sam Belnavis, Chief Diversity Officer of Roush Racing.  Jesus Hernandez has made the move from California to Greensboro, North Carolina.  After arriving in North Carolina it has been full speed ahead.  Jesus toured the racing facility that he will use.  It just so happens to be the same shop that was Mark Martin's.   The first race for Jesus will be April 2^nd at the Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, VA.  Asked about his move, "You know I didn't move 3000 miles to finish second, I'm ready to race".
