SPARTA, Ky -  (6-19-05) – Cecil Chunn hit the Kentucky Speedway with high hopes racing the number 48 Bellacino’s Chevrolet Friday night. 

The NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division Southeast Series hit the track for practice.  “We struggled in practice.  We were off a little bit and we weren’t sure which direction we needed to go. We made some pretty big changes which lost us a lot of time in the garage and impacted the amount of time on the track to practice.”  Cecil Chunn qualified the Bellacino’s Chevrolet 15th.   

“We were running about 15^th or 16^th with 10 laps to go and I got up on the wheel.  We had stayed out of trouble and were getting in the right position to set up to gain some spots.   After a lap or two we would gain another position when they couldn’t keep up the momentum and then we would pass them.” 

Cecil Chunn finished 10^th in the Insight Communications 150.  “In qualifying we weren’t going fast.  We just missed something on the body or chassis.  We ran three quarters faster in the race than all day in practice. We made the best out of a bad situation.  We will take it home and work on it to get it right.  Once we do we have got a car that will win.”
