Out of Gas Chunn and Bellacino’s Pizza & Grinders Finish 7th at Nashville

Nashville, TN (6-12-05) – Inclement weather caused the field to be set by the NASCAR rulebook putting Cecil Chunn in 21st position.  Not the start he was looking for.  “I was a little bit disappointed that qualifying got rained out because we had to start so far in the back of the field,” Chunn said. “We would have qualified top four if it hadn’t rained out. “

Cecil Chunn had Bellacino’s Pizza & Grinders on board for the Nashville race.  “We were proud to have Bellancino’s on board and to have them in the pits was an honor.”

Driving to second place in 19th laps, Cecil Chunn was poised and ready to win.  He stayed in 2nd and 3rd position all night.  “At the end of the race we had a lap car racing us pretty hard.  We corded the right rear tire and fell back to fourth place.”

Then on then last lap going into turn three the 48 car ran out of gas and coasted back to the start finish line to finish 7th. “It wasn’t the finish we were looking for,

There are more than 80 Bellacino's Pizza and Grinders restaurants located in about 15 states. The eateries specialize in a variety of grinders (Italian-style sandwiches), such as Stromboli, Crab & Seafood, and Chicago Steak. Bellacino's also offers a traditional variety of pizza, salad, and cheese bread. Sam Mancino, Sr., opened the first Bellacino's in the 1950s.
