Cecil Chunn Finished 12th  and Moves up 2 Spots to 8th in the Points after Inclement Weather Postpones Race

Nashville, Tenn - Charlie Bradberry won the Bob Harmon Memorial Sunbelt Rental 125. Cecil Chunn rallied to finish 12th after qualifying 10th Saturday Night. The Race was originally scheduled for Friday evening but due to Inclement weather was postponed and rescheduled after the running of the Busch race Saturday Evening.

Cecil Chunn was 19th fastest in practice. “The car was just terrible during practice.” Cecil Stated. Carburetor problems in practice made the team lose a lot of valuable time. “We didn’t have time to get what we really needed to get the car to run right,” Commented Cecil Chunn.

At the end of Practice the 48 team pulled out their notes from last year. They put everything from last year’s notes on the car and went out qualifying blind. It paid off with a 10th Place qualifying lap.

After one caution on the first lap, the rest of the race went green. During the race, the number 48 was too tight and couldn’t get off the corner. “We never got a chance to fix the car during the race, so we tried to stay out of trouble and get the best finish we could,” Cecil Stated.

The Number 48 team is still currently running without a sponsor, but they are hoping with the good runs they have had as they move up in the standings a sponsor will come on board.

Cecil Chunn is currently 8th in Driver Points and 3rd In Rookie Points, 3 points out of first.
