Kristin
McKnight and James Colucci Motorsports Ready for 2003
Kristin McKnight has
won one championship and collected over 75 feature wins, along with
winning 4 track championships. Most
notably she won “Rookie of the Year” in 2001 with the touring American
Three Quarter Midget Racing Association (ATQMRA) making her the first
female in the history of ATQMRA to win that honor.
She followed that up with finishing 2nd in points in
2002 and becoming the first female to win a feature in the ATQMRA.
This is just the beginning of the many records that will be broken
by Kristin McKnight.

James Colucci are poised to win in 2003 and are anxiously awaiting her
first full year in modified competition and her entrance into the NASCAR
Featherlite tour where she will run a limited schedule.
“She really wants to do this," said Colucci, who is as
excited as his driver. "Racing is her life."
Twenty year old
Kristin McKnight, a

resident began racing
at the age of 8 with her father, Tom, in a family-owned quarter midget.
With his blessing, she took the James Colucci Motorsports ride. James
Colucci the owner hails from
North Plainfield

New Jersey
.
"He has always supported all my decisions," Kristin said
of her father. "He loves racing, too."
Tom McKnight remains an active part of the team.
James Colucci
Motorsports currently has signed various associate sponsors including
Justice Brothers, Inc. a manufacturer and worldwide distributor of Car
Care Products, Fleet, Farm, and Industrial Lubricants and Cleaners.
James Colucci was also excited to announce “We have just teamed
up with Racing against Cancer, a fine organization that we are proud to be
with and we will be releasing more information at a later time concerning
this program.” The
Racing Against Cancer™ program is a non-profit organization dedicated to
raising funds for cancer research, patient services, youth tobacco
educational programs, and awareness.
“We are currently
looking to solidify sponsorship for our 2003 season we are ready to go and
win and take our sponsors with us to victory lane.”
