Eric Baldaccini, a former
North Texas Karters Shifter Kart Track Champion, made the
jump to the Sprint Car ranks in 2004. After competing in the
weekly ranks at Cowtown Speedway, Eric soon ventured out and
became a frequent ASCS competitor.
Eric made the first of his 15 career ASCS National Tour
feature starts when the series made its Cowtown Speedway
debut in 2005. Eric's next National start came during
Knoxville's 360 Nationals later that season.
Ranking among the youngest
drivers to finish among the top ten in an ASCS series in
2006 with a ranking of seventh in Sooner Region points, Eric
backed it up by earning ninth in Sooner Region points in the
2006 season despite missing two events along the way.
While mixing in a
healthy dose of National events last year, Eric also climbed
into the top ten in National points by season's end,
finishing eighth in the final rundown.
While most of Eric's ASCS laps have come in Sooner and
National action, his top career finish for the 2007 season
came in Gulf South action when he nearly cracked victory
lane at Houston Raceway Park before settling for runner-up
honors on September 29, 2007.
After consecutive top-ten rankings with the American Bank of
Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region, Eric Baldaccini threw his into
the ring for Brodix Rookie of the Year honors with the
O'Reilly American Sprint Cars on Tour National series in
2008.
The 2008 season saw over 53 nights of racing, including
eleven 410 races. Eric Baldaccini received 1 win, 7 top 5
finishes and 10 top 10 finishes. The season ended with a
strong 8th place ASCS National Tour ranking and Rookie of
the year honors.
For the 2010 season Eric Baldaccini will be running the ASCS
(American Sprint Car Series) National Tour for points
including running over 80 races mixed with ASCS and The
World Of Outlaw races. Watch for Eric in the 2010 season on
